The Echuca War Memorial Aquatic Centre offers a range of aqua group fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels.

Group exercise offers a variety of benefits that you might miss out on if working out on your own such as:

  • qualified and certified instructors
  • a safe and effectively designed workout that is tailored for results
  • a fun and social environment with great music
  • a consistent exercise schedule
  • an awesome workout that doesn’t require any prior knowledge or expertise.

Class descriptions are as follows:

Water fit

Low to moderate intensity - 45 minutes
These classes offer a well balanced workout that improves physical fitness, aerobic endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, mobility and balance, as well as being stimulating and fun.

Gentle Aqua

Low to moderate intensity - 45 minutes
Takes on the same principles as water fit, however, is lower impact and better suited for seniors, pregnant or rehab participants.

Water Fit Deep

Moderate intensity - 45 minutes
This class is conducted in deeper water. Participants are provided with a buoyancy belt to keep them afloat.

Aqua Sport Exercise & Recovery

Low to moderate intensity - 45 minutes

Full body water based class designed to enhance fitness, strength, mobility and recovery. Ideal for athletes, active adults and anyone seeking to train smart and recover fast.
