Outdoor pools

The 2025 / 2026 season for Campaspe Shire's outdoor pools closed on Monday, 9 March 2026. The outdoor pools are due to re-open for the 2026 / 2027 season in late November 2026.

All outdoor pools offer:

Lifeguard supervision
Lap swimming
Water play
Toilets and changeroom facilities
Seasonal programs (Call 03 5483 9698 for more information)

In line with the Watch Around Water guidelines, all children under 5 years of age must be within arm's length of an adult at all times. All children under 10 years of age must be under the active supervision of a person aged 16 years or older.

The Kyabram pool also has early morning openings on weekdays from 6.30am - 8am.

All outdoor pools close on Christmas Day

Temperature dependent operating procedures

During the season, all outdoor pools will open or close depending on temperatures advised by the Bureau of Meteorology.

Rochester Pool

The Rochester War Memorial Swimming Pool was decommissioned following the October 2022 floods.

Council is actively seeking state/federal funding towards the design and construction of a proposed $12.9 million aquatic facility.

Council has committed funding of $5 million, and on 28 April 2026 Council welcomed $3.95 million in Victorian Government funding, leaving $3.95 million of the total remaining. You can read more here: Rochester secures state funding for aquatic facility.
